Canceling a GLP-1 Subscription: The Deadline Is Only Half the Story
Compare ten GLP-1 providers’ cancellation channels, renewal deadlines, prescription refunds and prepaid terms, checked October 6, 2026.
On this page
Cancel the renewal, identify the pending prescription order, and request any refund separately. Those are three different jobs. A confirmation that your membership will end does not necessarily stop an order already at the pharmacy or return money from a prepaid plan.
That distinction is the most useful finding from our October 6, 2026 audit of ten providers' public policies. The notice periods range from hours to weeks; some merchants instead use a fulfillment milestone. My advice is to save the applicable terms before enrolling and set the reminder from the cancellation deadline, not the delivery date. “Cancel anytime” is too little information to make a prepaid purchase comfortable.
We checked published policies, not customer-service performance. We did not submit cancellations or test refund outcomes. What follows describes each merchant's stated policy, not a judgment about its legal enforceability or a promise that a particular consumer has no other rights.
Ten providers and the rule that matters
CLYR Health: its terms require subscription cancellation 48 hours before renewal through the account or contact@clyr.health. They make initial orders noncancelable after submission for clinical review and describe nonrefundable fees. But the semaglutide product page promises a one-time purchase without renewal. Verify which arrangement your receipt establishes; the contradiction matters more than a reassuring slogan. A two-month package should not be assumed refundable halfway through.12
Rex MD: the terms provide phone cancellation at (866) 294-3772, with additional portal/email options for specified customers. They use the ambiguous phrase “within (12) hours of the renewal subscription date.” Do not reinterpret it as a guaranteed post-charge grace period; arrange cancellation early and get the effective date confirmed. Prescription medicines are excluded from returns and refunds. The page does not establish a universal prorated prepaid refund.3
Collective: cancel through the online platform before the 21-day trial ends to prevent conversion to a paid annual membership. Afterward, cancel before the annual renewal; access continues through the paid period. Membership fees are generally nonrefundable, without partial-period refunds. This tells you about the membership, not permission to return unused prescription medication. Confirm the pharmacy order separately.4
Immortals: general subscription terms specify account settings and at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancellation stops later charges, with no routine refund for the paid period. The medicine-specific policy makes medicine sales final and directs prescription-filling errors to support. Do not apply the general store's 30-day returns language to GLP-1 prescriptions or assume a quarterly medicine purchase can be unwound monthly.56
Klinic: membership terms specify email to support@klinic.care by 9 a.m. Pacific, 14 business days before billing, and reserve the right to withhold prepaid refunds. They also describe dispensed orders as nonreturnable and nonrefundable. This is a conspicuously early deadline. Ask whether a visit-based arrangement actually enrolls you in this membership; a general terms section does not prove every consultation carries recurring charges.7
Belle: email care@joinbelle.com with the order number. Terms say to cancel subscriptions before renewal but do not specify a more precise hour or day buffer. Prescription products are not refundable once shipped; incorrect or defective products should be reported within seven days of delivery. The separate 14-day wellness-product return provision is not a medicine return window. Prepaid unused-supply refunds are not established by these terms.8
Mochi Health: use account cancellation or call (619) 648-1247 for membership. Its terms explicitly reject cancellation requests sent to hello@joinmochi.com. Medication changes use the medication page's Modify function before the refill reaches the pharmacy; fees become nonrefundable once sent for dispensing. Membership cancellation also cancels medication subscriptions that require that membership, but verify each order's status. There is no routine refund for partially used subscription periods.9
Henry Meds: cancel in the portal, email ask@henrymeds.com or call (909) 787-2342. The FAQ says a multi-month balance may remain payable. The refund policy allows a possible prorated subscription refund for medically required discontinuation with documentation and clinical approval; dispensed medication remains excluded. It also allows deductions for a consultation and processing costs. The reviewed FAQ gives no universal hour-based renewal cutoff—ask before assuming same-day notice is enough.1011
Ro: use Ro Body Program Details in the secure account and select Cancel Subscription, at least 48 hours before renewal. Paid membership fees are described as nonrefundable; access lasts to the paid period's end. Not ordering medication does not stop the membership charge. Prepaying a longer term does not create a routine partial-refund entitlement. Confirm any separate pharmacy order with the care team.12
Eden: its help page allows cancellation before a prescription goes to the pharmacy and says billing will not occur before that stage if cancellation is completed. It excludes returns/refunds once processed and shipped. The portal offers a pause under Treatments, Manage Your Subscription, Plan; a pause should not be mistaken for permanent cancellation. General terms defer the subscription cutoff and method to purchase disclosures, so retain those instructions and confirm the next charge is stopped.1314

Open your account, receipt and enrollment terms. Record the next billing date and time zone; the last date to cancel; whether the current prescription is still in review, at the pharmacy or shipped; the total remaining prepaid or installment commitment; and every separately billed membership or medication subscription. If a deadline uses business days, do not translate it into the same number of calendar days.
Then use the provider's accepted channel. A useful message says: “Please cancel future renewals for my membership and medication subscription. Confirm the effective date, whether any order is already in fulfillment, and whether any further balance remains. Separately, please assess a refund of the following charge and explain the applicable policy.” Send sensitive account details through the secure portal when available; never include your full card number.
Save the final confirmation, screenshots, request timestamp and support case number. A retention offer, an unanswered email or an account-deletion request is not the same evidence as confirmed cancellation. FTC guidance recommends keeping cancellation records and checking subsequent statements; if a company continues charging after attempted cancellation, contact the card issuer about a dispute and provide an accurate account of events.15 Stopping an automatic payment alone does not cancel an underlying obligation.16
Refund questions deserve their own thread
Explain the actual reason: duplicate billing, cancellation submitted before the deadline, an unfulfilled order, a dispensing error or a medical discontinuation. Attach the relevant receipt and correspondence. Do not describe an authorized purchase as fraud simply because you dislike the refund answer. A merchant's stated exception may require documentation; an exception is not a guaranteed outcome.
If the concern is a shipment that arrived warm, document and report it promptly rather than treating it as a change-of-mind return. For a transfer, use our switching-provider guide to coordinate records and follow-up care. Financial cancellation and a clinician's treatment plan run on different timelines.
Read the exit terms before buying the discount
Our six-month cost comparison separates cash paid from advertised monthly equivalents. Combine it with choosing a provider and the individual investigations of Embody, Pepti and Rehydra Plus when those services are on your shortlist; their specific terms require their own review rather than borrowing another company's deadline.
October 6, 2026: initial policy audit. Sources are public merchant terms and federal consumer guidance. Exact checkout provisions, jurisdiction-specific rights and whether a disputed clause is enforceable were not independently adjudicated. Save the version you accepted and seek appropriate consumer or legal help if the company and your records disagree.
Our MEDVi review shows why the refund question sometimes needs a separate answer: its cancellation policy and financial consent contain conflicting language about prepaid treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Does canceling a GLP-1 subscription refund unused medication?
Not automatically. Future renewals, orders already sent to the pharmacy and refunds for unused prepaid services are separate questions. Check the terms attached to your order.
Can I just stop payment to cancel?
Stopping an automatic payment does not by itself end an underlying subscription or balance owed. Use the stated cancellation process and save confirmation.
