Compare the supply, not just the monthly label

The injection pages visibly list three commitment lengths. Semaglutide moves from $199 for one month to $179 per month for six and $159 for twelve. Tirzepatide moves from $299 to $269 and $239. Those are published offers, rather than a personalized prescription or an order we completed.

The contract defines the longer plans as 24 or 48 weeks of medication, shipped in four- or eight-week installments depending on the applicable arrangement. A twelve-month plan therefore should not be assumed to supply 52 weeks. Ask how the last shipment, the next renewal and any remaining weeks fit together. A meaningful comparison uses the same amount of medication and follow-up, rather than treating every provider’s month as identical.

A shorter plan still needs a clear exit date

Shed allows either 28-day or monthly billing depending on the program. Its monthly cancellation rule is at least 72 hours before billing; the multi-month section instead uses 72 hours before the next scheduled shipment. It also references a two-month minimum commitment in the subscription refund section.

We would not assume that a one-month price means a one-payment trial. Obtain the applicable minimum term, the next charge date and the next dispatch date together. Use the earliest relevant cutoff, cancel through the permitted channel and save confirmation. Ask whether cancellation ends only the next renewal or also stops unshipped installments already purchased. Financing is a separate obligation: the terms say a pause does not stop lender payments.

Refunds change with the reason treatment ends

The standard multi-month refund calculation can reprice shipped months at the higher month-to-month rate. The contract’s example starts with $1,074 paid for six months of semaglutide: four shipped months become $796 at $199 each, leaving $278 when a refund is otherwise due. It does not promise that amount simply because you change your mind.

Do not apply that deduction to every situation. The terms give separate protections for provider-confirmed adverse reactions and Shed- or provider-initiated changes, including refunds for unfulfilled cycles at the price paid without that repricing. Ask which provision governs your circumstances. Request a written calculation distinguishing shipped supply, unshipped supply and fees. A dispatch can matter more than how much medication you have actually used.

For a provider-confirmed adverse reaction that prevents continuation, the terms also promise the greater of half the last shipped cycle’s cost or the unused pro-rata amount for that cycle, within five business days, in addition to paid-price refunds for unshipped cycles. This is a specific protection, not a general return policy for any reason.

The 120-day promise requires an eligible new user

The current promise is for first-time users of the eligible medication class; previous branded or compounded use disqualifies you. It starts with the first shipment and uses the baseline and goal recorded at enrollment. Its stated outcome is at least 5% weight loss or reaching that goal within 120 days.

Qualification requires four coaching appointments, two weight entries per calendar month, 60 daily Pivot check-ins, and timely provider follow-up forms with treatment-plan good standing. Submit a claim within 30 days after the period ends. Provider-directed medical changes do not automatically forfeit eligibility, and a medical pause adjusts the window.

The qualifying refund includes amounts paid to Shed for the covered period, including medication costs it collected; physical medication need not be returned. It does not itself cancel the rest of a longer subscription. We would save the applicable promise and confirm eligibility before treating it as financial protection, particularly when transferring from another GLP-1.

Branded prices need reconciliation before purchase

Both branded pages visibly contain different Shed membership figures. Wegovy’s headline adds $125 monthly, while its disclosure names $99; the Zepbound page has the same discrepancy. Medication is charged separately. These differences appeared in public desktop and mobile viewing on October 25, 2026.

That leaves a real budgeting question rather than one reliable combined price. Ask for the selected medication, presentation, dose, medication charge and Shed fee on the same written quote, including what changes after an introductory period. Do not use a starting medication price as the complete cost of care. We would hold off on choosing the branded pathway until Shed identifies which fee applies and how the pharmacy payment works.

An oral option is a different treatment decision

Shed separately markets daily oral GLP-1 drops, sublingual lozenges and a named daily pill, Foundayo. Its injection pages expressly describe weekly injections. The existence of several routes does not establish that they deliver the same formulation, dose or clinical result.

Ask the prescriber to name the intended ingredient, dosage form and rationale for that specific option. If avoiding injections is the priority, compare the actual prescription being proposed instead of assuming that every oral offer is interchangeable. The injection discounts above should not be carried over to drops, lozenges or a branded pill without a separate quote. This review does not establish individual suitability or independently confirm every advertised treatment claim.

Coaching should support an identified clinical team

The terms distinguish Shed Holdings, LLC, the platform operator, from independent providers who decide eligibility, prescriptions and follow-up. They describe text coaching and one 15-minute virtual coaching appointment monthly. Coaching access is useful to compare, but it does not identify who will manage your prescription or how quickly a clinical question will receive an answer.

Before paying, ask for the treating practice, clinician, state authorization, planned follow-up and any separate laboratory charges. Clarify whether visits will be live or asynchronous and how to seek help between them. We reviewed public information without receiving treatment or testing support. Our recommendation depends on a workable care arrangement, rather than assuming that advertised access guarantees your preferred appointment format.

A named network still is not your assigned pharmacy

Shed’s terms name Strive, Promise, DCA, Everwell, Custom Ivy and Boothwyn as pharmacy partners. That is more specific than an unnamed pharmacy promise, but it does not establish which facility would prepare your prescription. We did not verify those pharmacies’ licenses or an individual assignment for this review.

Obtain the dispensing pharmacy’s legal name, address and authorization for your state, then check the relevant board record. Ask which formulation and shipment schedule that pharmacy will supply. The injection pages acknowledge that compounded medications are not FDA-approved. A network list or a comparison with a brand does not independently establish the quality of a particular compounded prescription. We would finish those checks before committing to the largest discounted purchase.
