Privacy policy

In this policy, “GLP-1 Scorecard,” the “Site,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to GLP-1 Scorecard; “you” and “your” refer to any visitor to the Site. This policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Analytics data. Unless you have opted out (see Section 2), we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 may collect anonymized usage data such as the pages you visit, your approximate location (derived from IP address, which GA4 does not store in a manner that identifies you), device and browser type, referral source, and on-page interactions.
1.2 Cookies and local storage. GA4 sets cookies unless you have opted out, in which case they are deleted. Separately, the Site stores your choice in your browser's local storage under the cookie-consent key so that the notice does not reappear.
1.3 Information you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
1.4 The Site does not require you to create an account, and it does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, health records, or payment details.
2. Google Consent Mode v2
2.1 The Site serves a US audience and operates on an opt-out basis. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics storage set to granted by default, so measurement begins when the page loads; the cookie notice informs you of this rather than requesting permission first.
2.2 Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are set to denied at all times. The Site does not conduct advertising targeting and does not build advertising audiences.
2.3 You may opt out at any time, either from the cookie notice or from the control in Section 6.1. Opting out sets Consent Mode to denied for that browser and deletes the Google Analytics cookies already stored in it.
3. How we use information
We use the limited information described above to measure and improve the Site's content and performance, to understand aggregate visitor trends, to maintain security and prevent abuse, and to respond to messages you send us. We do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.
4. No sale of personal data
4.1 We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
4.2 For visitors covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) or similar U.S. state privacy laws, this statement serves as our notice that we do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by such laws.
5. Third parties
5.1 Our primary third-party processor is Google, which provides GA4 and Consent Mode. When you consent, data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy.
5.2 The Site contains links to third-party provider websites. When you follow an outbound link, the destination site's own privacy practices apply, and we are not responsible for them. See our advertising & affiliate disclosure for how outbound links are used.
6. Your choices and rights
6.1 Opting out. The control below turns analytics off for the browser you are reading in, immediately and without a reload. Your choice is stored under the cookie-consent key in local storage, which makes it per browser and per device; clearing this Site's data returns you to the default.
6.2 Access and deletion. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Because we collect very little identifiable information, we may ask you to provide enough detail for us to locate any relevant records. To exercise these rights, contact us using Section 11.
6.3 Browser-level opt-out. You may also block GA4 measurement at the browser level, for example using browser privacy settings or installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18, and in no event to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data retention
Aggregated and anonymized analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings we configure within GA4, after which it is deleted or further aggregated. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to address your inquiry and to keep reasonable records.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International visitors and changes
10.1 The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
10.2 We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
