Medical disclaimer
Last updated: July 2026
In this disclaimer, “GLP-1 Scorecard,” the “Site,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to GLP-1 Scorecard; “you” and “your” refer to any person who accesses or reads the Site. This disclaimer applies to every page, article, grade, score, table, and communication published on the Site.
1. Educational information only
1.1 All content on the Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, medical advice, a medical opinion, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for the independent judgment of a licensed healthcare professional.
1.2 The Site does not practice medicine, does not dispense medication, and is not a pharmacy, prescriber, clinic, or telehealth provider. Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as a clinical instruction directed at your particular circumstances.
2. No physician–patient relationship
2.1 Your use of the Site, including any correspondence you send to us, does not create a physician–patient, clinician–patient, or any other professional treatment relationship between you and GLP-1 Scorecard or its contributors.
2.2 We do not assess, examine, diagnose, or treat any individual, and we cannot and do not give personalized medical guidance.
3. Consult a licensed clinician
3.1 You should always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified, licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, delaying, or changing any medication, therapy, dose, diet, or course of treatment, and before acting on anything you read on the Site.
3.2 Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read on the Site.
4. Individual results vary
Health outcomes, weight-loss results, side effects, tolerability, and responses to any medication or program differ from person to person. Any figures, ranges, or examples referenced on the Site are illustrative and are not a promise or prediction of the results you will experience.
5. Emergencies
The Site is not designed for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, or believe you may be, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately, or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not rely on the Site for urgent or emergency care.
6. GLP-1-specific caveats
6.1 Compounded GLP-1 medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products and are not reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety, efficacy, or quality in the same manner as brand-name products such as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, or Zepbound®. Compounded preparations may differ from these branded products in formulation, concentration, ingredients, and manufacturing controls.
6.2 Whether any GLP-1 medication — branded or compounded — is appropriate, safe, or effective for you is a clinical decision that rests entirely with a licensed prescriber who has evaluated your individual medical history. The Site does not make that decision and does not recommend that you take, or refrain from taking, any specific medication.
7. Third-party and provider information
References to, grades of, or information about any provider, product, pharmacy, or manufacturer are provided for comparison and research purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of that party, its products, or the care it delivers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, pricing, or clinical services of any third party.
8. Accuracy and changes
8.1 While we aim to publish accurate, current information, medical knowledge, product availability, pricing, and provider practices change frequently. We do not warrant that any content is complete, current, or error-free, and content may be updated, corrected, or removed at any time without notice.
8.2 For related terms, see our terms of use and advertising & affiliate disclosure.
