MEDVi Review: Read the Renewal and Refund Terms Before Enrolling

MEDVi's brand membership excludes medication, cancellation needs 72 hours, and refund documents conflict. Our sourced October 2026 review, without a grade.

MEDVi is worth a closer look for shoppers who want online treatment with named clinical and pharmacy relationships. I would settle its renewal price and refund terms before paying, however. The public documents give useful detail, but they do not tell one consistent story about refunds. This is an ungraded review: we have not assigned a WeighScore or ranking position, and there is no paid MEDVi signup link on this page.

This assessment covers MEDVi's public program, legal and consent pages and the FDA source linked below, checked October 6, 2026. We did not enroll, receive medication or test the care team's responsiveness. MEDVi and the separately listed MEDVidi are different providers; this review concerns medvi.org.

The brand membership is not the medication price

MEDVi's GLP-1 page presents compounded injections and dissolvable tablets alongside Wegovy and Zepbound. The branded options are labeled as a $99 membership plus medication cost. That distinction matters more than the low number on the card: $99 is not the total price of a month of branded treatment. The same page distinguishes a first-month compounded offer from a refill rate.1

We could not reliably verify the numerical compounded introductory and refill prices in this review, so we do not publish a total or call MEDVi a low-cost option. That is a limit of this check, not a claim that prices never appear to customers. Before comparing it with another program, obtain the selected formulation, first charge, recurring charge, billing frequency and any dose-related increase. Our six-month cost guide explains why those figures belong together.

Someone seeking a branded prescription should compare the membership and expected medication bill together. Someone considering a compounded plan should establish whether the refill amount applies to the anticipated prescribed dose. Those two shoppers are buying different arrangements, even when they start from the same landing page.

Cancel at least 72 hours before the next bill

The cancellation policy accepts requests by email or patient-portal chat and requires receipt at least 72 hours before the next billing date. A late request takes effect in the following cycle. Monthly subscribers generally do not receive a refund for the current or past month. The policy describes a full refund within the first 72 hours only if no subscription services have been received, plus medical-disqualification exceptions.2

That makes the billing date worth saving as soon as the account opens. Keep confirmation of a cancellation request. A plan described as having no contract can still renew automatically and require advance notice; the absence of a long commitment does not make each charge reversible.

The prepaid refund language needs clarification

For plans charged two or more months at a time, the refund page says months with no medication shipped can be refunded. But the same page later uses blanket no-refund wording except for medical disqualification. The financial-consent section separately says programs automatically renew and states that there are no refunds or exchanges. These provisions do not fit neatly together.23

I would ask MEDVi to explain, in writing, which rule governs the specific plan before choosing a larger advance payment. The useful question is concrete: if treatment stops after the first shipment, what happens to money paid for later unshipped months? This review does not resolve that conflict in the buyer's favor or assume that the strictest sentence is always enforced. Readers considering an exit can use our subscription cancellation checklist.

Named partners are useful; assignment still matters

The homepage identifies OpenLoop Health and CareGLP-affiliated medical entities, and lists Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding as pharmacy partners. It says clinician review determines whether a prescription is appropriate after checkout. Those names give a shopper more to investigate than a generic assurance about licensed care.4

The terms distinguish MEDVi's administrative platform from independent medical professionals and pharmacies. They direct people to customer service for current state availability. The reviewed materials do not establish which individual clinician or pharmacy would be assigned to a particular order.5

Ask for that assignment and the clinical contact route. A named network does not itself establish the service an individual patient will receive. MEDVi also advertises dietitian visits and coaching with an insurance/copay qualification in the footnote; do not assume that every nutrition visit is unconditionally free.4

A relevant FDA disclosure

The FDA published a warning letter addressed to MEDVi, LLC dba MEDVi, dated February 20, 2026, reference 721455. The agency's letter is linked here so readers can inspect the original. We have not established a subsequent closeout or resolution and do not infer one from the current website.6

MEDVi itself distinguishes compounded medication from FDA-approved products. A pharmacy or clinical relationship does not turn a compounded formulation into an FDA-approved branded drug.4

Who should consider it

MEDVi may suit someone comfortable with remote care who wants both compounded and branded paths and is willing to confirm the chosen plan's full bill. Its named partners and detailed cancellation instructions are useful disclosures. For a shopper who requires a settled maintenance price and unambiguous prepaid refund protection before enrolling, I would keep comparing until MEDVi answers those questions.

The missing answers also explain the absence of a numerical grade. We can make a buying recommendation from the documents without pretending to have verified every dimension of our scoring method. A future grade would need a reproducible treatment cost, the applicable refund rule, dispensing details and clearer evidence about included monitoring—not an invented set of marks.

Frequently asked questions

Is the $99 MEDVi brand membership the full medication price?

No. The reviewed brand cards show $99 membership plus medication cost. Confirm the combined amount for the selected product before enrolling.

How much notice does MEDVi require for cancellation?

Its public policy requires the cancellation request at least 72 hours before the next billing date. Email or patient-portal chat are the stated channels.

Does MEDVi have a WeighScore?

Not in this review. This is an ungraded assessment of current public documents. Price verification, refund inconsistencies and other scoring inputs remain unresolved.
