Rila Review: Six-Month Prices and Monthly Exit Terms

Compare Rila’s six-month GLP-1 prices, monthly renewal, refund exceptions and disclosed care partners.

On this page

Rila’s $198 injection headline comes with a six-month commitment. We would not choose it on price alone: get the payment schedule and early-exit liability in writing first.

The floor comes with six months

The homepage advertises compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide: injections from $198 monthly and dissolvable tablets from $217 monthly, each with a six-month commitment. These are category floors, not separate confirmed quotes for each molecule. The page says compounded medications are not FDA-approved. It does not establish your quantity, first debit or total commitment.

Advertises pricing across doses with no membership fee, but starting-price displays and FAQ payment/refund promises need to be reconciled with the selected plan and refund policy.

Confirm billing terms

Rila's terms name platform operator BJE Equity LLC; independent providers prescribe and pharmacies dispense. They describe a recurring, automatically renewing monthly subscription, charged at the start of each cycle until cancellation. Prices may change with notice. Ask what cancellation leaves payable and what each shipment contains.

Our billing-period guide separates payment dates from supply.

Ask how monthly renewal fits the six-month commitment, including whether you pay upfront and what early exit costs. The headline does not settle that agreement.

Declined treatment and later cancellation differ

Initial ineligibility means no charge; collected money is fully refunded and card holds released. Otherwise begun or past cycles are generally nonrefundable. A later provider determination that treatment is medically inappropriate allows a refund only for the most recent cycle's services or medication not yet provided or dispensed after that determination.

Cancel by emailing team@joinrila.com at least 72 hours before the next billing date. Later requests may leave the upcoming charge payable and nonrefundable. Dispensed or shipped medication cannot be returned or refunded. Report damaged or incorrect orders within seven days of delivery; photos may be requested. Replacement is free; refunds excluded.

Our cancellation guide separates stopping future renewals from recovering a payment.

Separate support from prescribing

Rila promises a dedicated certified medical assistant for check-ins and between-visit questions at no extra cost. Disclosed partners are medical group DrTelx and pharmacies EPIQ Scripts, Foothills Professional Pharmacy and Emerald Pharmacy. We have not independently verified credentials, accreditation, certification or your assigned clinician and dispenser.

Use our pharmacy verification guide once the dispensing facility is named. Ask who handles clinical questions separately from accountability support.

Location changes the visit

The terms advertise all states and DC, subject to medication restrictions and provider licensure. They require a live consultation in DC, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Rhode Island and West Virginia. Confirm individual eligibility.

Separate website tracking from the clinical record

Rila’s privacy policy distinguishes health records from some pre-care website and marketing information, which it says may not be HIPAA-protected information. It describes sharing certain online identifiers and usage data with advertising or analytics providers, while saying it does not sell health information or phone numbers. We have not audited actual data flows or compliance. Ask which notice covers your intake and which opt-outs apply. Our telehealth privacy guide explains the questions to settle before sharing information.

Rila’s consent says withdrawal through secure messaging or support email does not itself cancel scheduled medication shipments or recurring subscriptions. It separately says the provider holds the medical record; support routes copy requests to that provider. Copying and delivery fees may apply where permitted. Ask for the records and cancellation instructions separately before transferring care.

Our switching guide helps organize the record transfer.

Our take

We would consider Rila for check-ins after confirming the assigned practice and pharmacy.
