Novera MD Review: Get the Full Quote Before Paying
Novera MD lists low starting GLP-1 prices, but its public terms leave billing and refunds unclear. See what to establish before committing.
On this page
Novera MD is worth a pricing inquiry, but we would not prepay on the strength of its advertised monthly figures. The missing piece is the purchase agreement: how much is charged today, what renews, and when money stops being refundable. A low starting price becomes useful only when those answers accompany it.
Our October 25, 2026 investigation examined public Novera pages and legal disclosures, including advertised product details visible in search listings. We did not enroll, complete checkout, receive treatment or test support. Prices below are advertised starting figures rather than verified transaction totals. This remains an ungraded investigation.
The advertised prices need a billing explanation
The semaglutide injection search listing advertised a starting price of $94.31 per month and buy-now-pay-later availability. It described weekly injections, physician dose adjustments, follow-up labs and pharmacy delivery, including U.S. compounding language.
The corresponding tirzepatide injection page advertised $164.31 per month as its starting figure, also alongside financing language, and described personalized clinical review and continuing adjustments. These are two separate offers. They do not establish the price for every dose or every patient's plan.
Financing language is a reason to inspect the payment schedule closely. Ask whether the monthly figure is a merchant subscription, the equivalent of a prepaid package, or an installment owed to a finance company. Those arrangements create different commitments even when the headline looks similar. We could not settle that distinction from the accessible public terms.
Do not multiply either starting figure into a six-month budget and treat the result as an available plan. First obtain the medication quantity, supply period, first charge, later charges and total commitment. Our six-month cost guide explains how to compare a monthly equivalent with the actual cash required.

Novera's terms, dated July 24, 2026, describe a telehealth facilitation platform connecting independent providers affiliated with the WizDoc network. They say the platform does not practice medicine or employ providers. They also make prescription eligibility conditional on clinical review and note that service availability varies by jurisdiction.
The accessible terms do not state a subscription billing interval, minimum purchase, automatic-renewal amount, cancellation notice period or refund cutoff. We therefore cannot tell a reader that canceling before shipment is sufficient, that medical rejection produces an automatic refund, or that unused prepaid treatment will be reimbursed. Absence from these pages does not prove those policies do not exist; it means we could not verify them here.
That uncertainty is decisive for someone buying for the first time. Request the purchase-specific terms before entering a payment agreement. Ask exactly when an order becomes nonrefundable: at payment, clinical approval, prescription transmission, compounding or shipment. Ask separately what happens to future refills. A support assurance should identify the offer and the amount it applies to, so it can be matched to the receipt later.
For a financed purchase, establish how cancellation affects the lender balance as well as the treatment plan. Stopping a refill should not be assumed to terminate a separate credit agreement. Our cancellation checklist helps organize the dates and confirmations to keep.
The clinical pitch needs patient-specific detail
Novera's homepage presents an intake, diagnostics, protocol design and continuing monitoring process. Its weight-loss page promotes online care and says insurance is not needed. That gives a shopper a useful outline, but it does not specify which labs are required for the selected medication or how much they cost.
Ask which tests must be completed before prescribing, whether existing results are accepted, and who arranges follow-up. Obtain the expected visit schedule and the route for urgent medication questions. Someone who values clinician access should compare a concrete response arrangement with other programs, rather than assuming that ongoing support means scheduled appointments or rapid replies.
The named provider network is a starting point for checking the care relationship. It does not identify your assigned clinician or prove their license is active in your state. Request the clinical practice's legal name and your clinician's identity, then check the appropriate licensing board. The platform and the professionals delivering care have different responsibilities; establish both before authorizing a purchase.
Compounded treatment requires a separate comparison
The product pages' compounding language and the terms' disclosure matter: Novera says compounded medicines are not FDA-approved and that pharmacies fulfill prescriptions when ordered. The accessible evidence does not identify the dispensing pharmacy for an individual order or the complete formulation. Do not assume that an ingredient name promises a particular branded pen, concentration or additive combination.
FDA says unapproved GLP-1 versions do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. It recommends compounding only for patients whose medical needs cannot be met by approved drugs, and using a prescription and state-licensed pharmacy. This is general regulatory guidance, not a finding about Novera's individual prescriptions.
Before paying, obtain the intended pharmacy and ask why the prescribed preparation is appropriate for your needs. Confirm its concentration, included supplies and instructions with the clinical team. Our compounded-versus-brand guide and pharmacy verification guide help make that comparison specific.
Our recommendation: inquire first, commit later
Novera may appeal to someone seeking an online program with advertised low starting prices and a physician-led care pitch. We would keep it on an inquiry list while requesting the financial and clinical details above. The current public evidence is too incomplete for a confident prepaid recommendation.
Shoppers who need a predictable recurring bill or a clearly stated cancellation window should prioritize a program that supplies those terms before payment. Novera can become a more useful comparison when it provides a complete quote, the refund boundary, the assigned care practice and pharmacy, and the cost of required follow-up. Until then, the starting price is a lead to investigate rather than a dependable budget.
