GoodLife Health Review: $299 Care Plus Medication
GoodLife Health charges $299 for care and quarterly labs, with branded GLP-1 medication billed separately. Understand the $598 initial commitment.
On this page
GoodLife Health is a closer match for someone seeking ongoing clinical care and laboratory monitoring than someone shopping only for the lowest medication price. Its $299 monthly membership is a care fee. Your branded prescription is a separate purchase, so the membership figure cannot stand in for a total GLP-1 budget.
GLP-1 Scorecard examined GoodLife Health's public pricing, medical weight-loss information, corporate disclosures and membership terms on October 25, 2026. We did not enroll, attend a visit, test support or receive treatment. This remains an ungraded investigation of the advertised arrangement.
Build a budget with two separate bills
The pricing page lists $299 per month for clinical care and one comprehensive lab panel every 90 days. Medication is billed by the pharmacy; additional tests beyond the included schedule can cost extra. The advertised first payment is $598, covering a two-month minimum commitment, followed by monthly billing.
Six months of membership at that rate costs $1,794 before medication and extra tests. This is arithmetic from the advertised fee, not an individual quote. Obtain a pharmacy estimate for the drug and dose your clinician recommends, then add the care fee. Our six-month cost guide explains why a membership and an inclusive medication bundle need different comparisons.
A promise to take no medication markup does not establish the lowest available pharmacy price or your insurance coverage. Ask which pharmacy will fill the prescription and what you would pay if a manufacturer offer changes or insurance declines coverage.

Check Strut Health availabilityResolve the first-charge wording before enrolling
The homepage describes $598 as an authorization hold rather than an immediate charge. The pricing page calls it the first payment, and section 5.2 of the terms says $598 is charged upfront. We would budget for the contractual upfront charge unless GoodLife supplies a clear explanation of the actual payment sequence.
Ask when a hold becomes a charge, when the initial term begins, and what happens if a clinician recommends something other than a GLP-1. Do not assume a free eligibility questionnaire makes the subsequent clinical assessment refundable.
Cancel-anytime language has an initial exception
The membership automatically renews. The terms allow cancellation from month three onward by email or through the member portal, stopping billing at the next cycle. Partial months are not prorated, and the initial two-month payment becomes nonrefundable when that term begins, except as required by law.
A shopper who only wants a brief prescription consultation should weigh that minimum carefully. Ask for the renewal date and retain written cancellation confirmation. Our subscription cancellation checklist helps separate stopping the next payment from requesting money back.
The terms say payment does not guarantee a particular prescription. They also distinguish a company termination without cause, for which unused fees receive a prorated refund. Neither statement establishes an automatic refund whenever your preferred medication is unsuitable. Obtain the outcome for your own eligibility situation before paying.
What the broader care model offers
GoodLife's weight-loss page describes laboratory review before prescribing, medication selection by a clinician and ongoing follow-up. It presents branded GLP-1 prescriptions routed through manufacturer, pharmacy or insurance channels. Its pricing page advertises a synchronous first visit, monthly check-ins and secure messaging.
That may be useful for someone who wants their weight treatment considered alongside other health concerns. It does not prove that more testing or a broader protocol will improve your individual outcome. Ask which tests are appropriate for you, how results change the treatment plan and which extra tests require separate payment. The public pages describe included panels differently, so request the exact test list rather than assuming every mentioned biomarker is included.
Establish the medical practice and pharmacy
The corporate page identifies a clinical professional corporation and a separate company handling technology and administration. The terms also identify Beluga Health, P.A. as a source of direct medical care. These disclosures help frame the relationship, but do not identify or independently verify your assigned clinician.
Ask which practice will treat you, who holds your records and how to reach the prescribing professional. Confirm their license for your location. For dispensing, establish the pharmacy and its own billing and return policies. GoodLife's membership cancellation and the pharmacy's prescription order are separate questions.
Branded treatment changes the comparison
GoodLife states that it does not provide compounded GLP-1 medication. Someone specifically seeking a branded product has a reason to investigate that arrangement. Someone looking for a single low cash price including medication may find this model harder to budget for.
A product name alone does not settle your clinical eligibility or insurance coverage. Ask the treating clinician about the intended indication, alternatives and follow-up, then check the exact pharmacy cost. Our brand and compounded treatment guide explains the distinction without assuming the two are interchangeable.
Our recommendation
Shortlist GoodLife if you want continuing clinical care, can use the included lab schedule and can comfortably afford both membership and medication. The two-month opening commitment deserves particular attention if your only goal is obtaining a specific prescription.
Before enrolling, resolve the hold-versus-charge wording, confirm the included test panel and obtain a pharmacy estimate. Those answers determine whether the broader membership offers enough value for your needs. We cannot recommend it on a medication-price comparison alone.
