The membership changes what the starting price means

Hers currently advertises Wegovy pill from $149 a month, Wegovy pen from $199, and Zepbound vial or KwikPen from $299. Those figures cover medication only if prescribed. The required care membership costs $39 for the first month and automatically renews at $149 a month afterward. A membership does not guarantee a prescription.

At an unchanged $149 medication charge, adding the stated membership would produce $188 for the first month and $298 for a later month. That is an illustration of the two charges, not a promise that a particular prescribed dose remains $149. The useful question for checkout is the complete charge for your medication now, its next charge, and when each subscription renews.

I would compare Hers against another route to the same prescribed product, including the care available through that route. Its fee purchases continuing access and support, so a medication-only price comparison misses what you are buying. Equally, the presence of extra support does not prove that the premium will be worthwhile for every patient.

Compare the exact product rather than the GLP-1 label

The current storefront offers branded oral and injectable choices. That matters if older descriptions of Hers have led you to expect a compounded-semaglutide package: the visible offer reviewed for this assessment is a membership with separately priced medication options. Ask which product the clinician is proposing rather than treating the brand’s historical offering as today’s menu.

The Wegovy pill page distinguishes daily tablets from weekly injections and says medication pricing can vary by dosage. It also says a video visit may not be required in every state. Those details make the intake useful, but they leave questions to resolve for your own prescription: formulation, strength, device, dispensing route and recurring cost. A broad catalogue is a choice of possibilities, not a promise that every option is available to you.

Two subscriptions can require two decisions when leaving

The support center gives a specific path for membership cancellation: open Subscriptions, manage the subscription, choose the option to turn off auto-renew for medication or membership, and complete the prompts. It says canceling only medication leaves membership active and charging. Canceling membership also cancels associated medication.

Keep confirmation identifying exactly what was stopped and the effective date. This is particularly important if your decision is to move the prescription elsewhere while keeping access to a care service, or to leave altogether. A stopped shipment, an unanswered message or a medication cancellation should not be treated as proof that every recurring charge has ended.

The current terms require cancellation at least two days before the next billing date, using the originally scheduled date even when a charge occurs early. They also say membership charges can continue through the supply period for medication already shipped under a prepaid multi-month plan. Ask about that obligation before selecting a longer medication term.

Refund rights depend on the purchase and fulfillment stage

The October 20 terms make the first membership month nonrefundable. For an initial medication-plan order, they provide a refund path if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of submitting payment information and before shipment. Once medication has shipped, the terms exclude a medication refund. Other partly used periods are not guaranteed a refund.

Review the order promptly if the product or payment is unclear. Keep medical questions with the clinician and billing requests with account support; a refund deadline does not decide whether treatment is appropriate.

The terms also describe prescriptions routed to Gifthealth, where that separate pharmacy controls medication purchase, billing, cancellation and refund questions. Confirm who is actually charging for your medicine. A request addressed only to Hers may not resolve a separate pharmacy transaction.

Check the clinician and pharmacy for your order

The membership page describes monthly care-team follow-ups and messaging access with licensed providers. That is a clearer statement of ongoing support than a one-time intake alone. It still does not establish the speed or quality of an individual response, and it should not be confused with an emergency service or comprehensive primary care.

Hers says state-licensed providers assess eligibility and that GLP-1 services are not available in every state. Check availability where you will physically receive care before making a payment decision. If you are transferring treatment, the public page says the incoming provider reviews your history; that is an assessment rather than automatic continuation of the same prescription.

The terms identify You Health medical groups and several pharmacy organizations; they do not establish which will handle your particular order. Ask for your assigned professional’s identity and license and the dispensing pharmacy’s name. The telehealth consent describes care through the platform by physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other professionals. I have not enrolled or independently verified an assigned clinician, pharmacy transaction or patient outcome.

Keep the FDA history attached to the claims it addressed

FDA issued a September 9, 2025 warning letter to Hims & Hers Health, Inc. dba Hers, MARCS-CMS 716825. It addressed misleading promotional claims about compounded semaglutide, including implications of equivalence to approved products. That is a specific public regulatory record, not a patient rating or a finding that every branded product now listed by Hers is unapproved.

I would retain that history while evaluating the current offer on its own details. The branded medication, the prescribing decision and the platform’s service arrangements answer different questions. Hers earns a qualified place on a shortlist for its range and ongoing care proposition; the separate recurring cost and cancellation obligations need to be acceptable before it becomes a sensible purchase.
