Lighter You, Checked but Not Graded: A Real Company With No Observable Price

Two things are true about Lighter You (lighteryou.co) and most write-ups would only manage one of them. It is a real operator with better pharmacy disclosure than most of the companies we checked in August 2026. And its entire public pricing surface consists of seven hardcoded strings, the loudest of which is a number that buys nothing. This page holds both. There is no WeighScore on it and no board position, because a grade on this site starts with a normalized price and there is no price here to normalize.

Start with what is good, because it is real

Lighter You names four dispensing pharmacies, with street addresses: Red Rock Home Pharmacy in St. George, Utah; Health Warehouse in Florence, Kentucky; Precision Compounding Pharmacy in Bellmore, New York; and Triad Rx in Daphne, Alabama.¹

That is better fulfillment disclosure than any other company in this pass, and it is not close. Pepti, Vyvron and Rehydra+ Wellness between them name zero pharmacies. That is the complete list. Seven strings, two of which contain no number at all.

The $99 corresponds to no program. The cheapest program on the site is $145. There is no $99 tier anywhere — not in a plan, not in a promotion, not as a first-month rate. It is a headline figure with nothing behind it, sitting at the top of every page in the largest type on the site.

And there is no way to check

The "Get Started" button on every program card leads to a route that requires an authenticated account. There is no public product page, no catalogue, no checkout you can reach, and no endpoint that returns a price. The site's sitemap contains six URLs in total: the homepage, an about page and four legal pages.

So a reader cannot verify the $145, and neither can we. The only description of what is being sold anywhere on the site is a single FAQ sentence naming GLP-1 medications such as tirzepatide and semaglutide, targeted peptide therapies, and medications for men's and women's health. No individual peptide is ever named. No route, dose or formulation is ever stated. Two of the five advertised programs carry no price at all.

This is the failure our six-point checklist is built to catch on its first question. If you cannot state, in one sentence, what you will pay per month at your maintenance dose, you are not ready to enter a card number — and here the company has made that sentence impossible to write before you create an account.

The entity is two entities

The terms of service and the privacy policy name Lighter You, LLC. The HIPAA notice of privacy practices names Lighter You Health, Inc. Those are different legal forms of different names, sitting in the same site's legal section, and no address is published for either one.

That is not an accusation of anything. It is an unresolved inconsistency in the documents whose entire job is to say who you are contracting with, and it is the second-order version of the same problem as the price: the information exists, it just does not agree with itself.

The refund clause, and the guarantee that is not one

The FAQ promises a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. The refund policy contains no such guarantee and contradicts it in block capitals: other than cancellation due to medical disqualification, in no event shall you be issued a refund upon cancellation of the subscription services.

Cancelling requires 72 hours' notice. Refunds, in the narrow cases where they are issued, cover only the most recent billing cycle. And you are charged for the first month when you complete the intake form, before a provider reviews it — so the sequence is pay, then be assessed, with the refund door closed behind you except on medical disqualification.

Of the seven companies in this pass, that is the harshest refund posture we found, and it is attached to the only one whose price you cannot see before you commit. Those two facts are much worse together than either is alone.

The regulatory screen

The FDA's live warning-letter index returned no company-column match in August 2026 for Lighter You, for OpenLoop, or for any of the four named pharmacies.² The same pass returned a known February 2026 letter for an unrelated telehealth seller run as a positive control, so those zeros are evidence rather than a broken query. The closest thing to a match was a tobacco-related letter to an entirely different company with a similar-looking domain, which is not this business. Compliance is not where this company's problem is.

The company also serves all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with a note that some services may not be available everywhere. No prescriber is named and no NPI is published.

The verdict, in prose

Lighter You is not a scam and we are not going to imply that it is. It is a real telehealth operator with unusually good pharmacy disclosure, a real clinical partner and a real certification, whose public price surface has been built as decoration rather than as information — a $99 that buys nothing, two programs with no number, three "starting at" figures with no ladder behind them, and a login between you and the truth.

For a site that grades providers on normalized cost, that is disqualifying in a specific and fixable way. We cannot score cost value on a number nobody can buy, so this company carries no grade and appears on no board. If Lighter You publishes product pages with observable per-molecule pricing, it is worth checking again, and the pharmacy disclosure means it would start from a better position than most. Until then, the companies that do publish a price you can check are on the provider reviews index, and the ledger that puts them in order is at cheapest GLP-1.
